Glass Slide Negatives

All but two of the photos in this group have been scanned on a flat bed scanner from glass negatives.  I have no information on the origin or location of where these photographs were taken but I do suspect some of them were shot in the Brockton or Taunton area.  All suggestions as to locations are simply guesses on my part.

This is a "colorized"  image of what looks like a group of kids having just played some sort of ball game.  You can see the somewhat deflated ball in the foreground but I'm not sure if it's a football or basketball.  I used a freely available web service to colorize the original black and white image.

Guessing this is a group of engineers. It's a wild guess but there are bridge structures just like this in downtown Brockton under the MBTA railroad tracks.

Looks like a photography club out capturing landscapes. You can't see it in this photo but when I zoom into the dark square sign on the tree, there are two advertisements. One is for the Besse Baker's Department Store and the other is for the L. E. Higgins and Company who had a store in Taunton.

Another guess but this looks like a photographers club outing. Note several bottles of Moxie Nerve Food on the table. On another bottle, you can see the partial label with Bob's Coffee showing.
