Cranland Airport - Hanson MA
This small, single runway airport, just off Rte 58 in Hanson was opened in 1960. It is surrounded by cranberry bogs and is home to the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 279 (EAA 279). Every third Sunday from April thru October, the EAA chapter holds a fly-in breakfast open to the public. During these events, planes from the surrounding area land and take off allowing visitors a close look at the aircraft while they're parked on the grass field adjacent to the runway.
